More than 840,000 gallons of oil spilled into Talmadge Creek and the Kalamazoo River on Sunday and Monday. That's right, the latest oil spill is here in Michigan, washing up on the grass of backyards along the Talmadge Creek that flows along into the Kalamazoo River. The oil is a part of the eight million gallons that traverse the area each day en route from Indiana to the major refinery town of Sarnia, Ontario. A Canadian company, Enbridge Inc., owns the pipeline. Now what is it will foreign oil companies and them screwing up our ecology. If you ask me, I say this is a terrorist attack because technically it's an outside nations entity reeking terror on US soil or to be specific US ecology.
So for today's addition, I will be painting the signature Michigan 'M' unto my oil spill that covers the base of my canvas.

Just got out of a studio session with Atlantic Records and I'm all hopped up on RedBull. Don't know why I drank so much RedBull...I guess because it was there. Call me crazy but I think those RedBulls we placed there purposely to keep artists and writers going and going and going. It sure did give me wings and by the end of the night, I was flying high.
So for today's addition, I will be adding a red arrow to my battery to represent the infusion of unnatural caffeinated energy that I've been experiencing all day.

Can you believe it's been 100 days since the disaster at the Gulf caused by BP's incompetence and greed began. Thankfully the oil has officially stopped spilling as of now but the already reeked ecological disaster is yet to be comprehended. So as we look back on the last 100 days, ask yourselves this question; is BP solely to blame or does our insatiable desire for oil play a part in this. I think we all played a part in this disaster and we all will pay for it one way or the other.
So for today's addition, I will be painting the number 100 at the end of my spill to cap this milestone in the ongoing saga that is this disaster.

Just completed a very productive session and I couldn't be happier with what I gat so far on this new record I'm working on for Justin Bieber. I'm a 'Belieber' people and I wanna be part to the Bieber Fever. I can see why these teen girls go insane for the kid. His music is like catnip for them and I have a new flavor for them. I'm done with the rough vocal outline for the song. Now all that remains is to lay down the vocals right and present it to the powers that be over at 'Biebermania'.
So for today's painting, I'm gonna be painting the exact vocal wave signature of the first phrase I sang for this song. I will be painting within my cluster of musical instruments; piano, guitar and musical notes. I'm calling this area my musical section.

I dropped my blackberry again on the concrete while having lunch but this time it wasn't fatal. Just a couple scratches and bruises but it'll live. Everyone at the lunch kept telling my to get the rubber case but they look so ugly and most of all, don't look half as cool as having your phone without them. It makes you and your phone look like a special-ed case. So I'm sticking to my guns and letting my phone fly brr...balls to the wall and all. I'm sure that's what it'd want me to to.
Thus for today's addition, I have decided to paint on some scratches to my crackberry logo from day 141.

It's been a very long time since I last had a siesta and I pretty much forgot how powerful these aptly called power naps can do for you. See I had a session ahead of em and I was already tired from traveling and running around. So I decided to take a quick siesta for about an hour and wow was it worth it. I woke up invigorated and ready to go for another 12 hour stretch in the studio. No wonder mother always made us take siesta's after school when we were young...I guess mother always knows best.
so for today's addition, I will be painting a slight jolt in the depletion of my battery from day 201 to represent the short but power-packed nap that we call siesta.

Today a man in New York robbed a bank dressed as Darth Vader. Here is a pic:
I guess he really needs the work after his Death star blew up. But all jokes aside, The Empire Strikes back is my absolute favorite of all the Star Wars sequels and prequels. So to have it's image sullied by this thug is down right apprehensive. I hope he gets caught and ordered to go to prison dressed as Princess Leia in her metal bikini when she was captured by 'Jabba The Hut'. Maybe then he would think twice next time about the scope and depth of his impending actions.
So for today's addition, I will be painting on the signature Darth Vader breathing apparatus unto my smiley face from day 83 since it already has the triangle from day 57 which can double as Darth Vader's triangular breathing setup.

My session at the gym today was my longest ever. Clocking almost 3 full hours of fitness from cardio to strength to endurance training. I stayed so long that for the first time, I got charged extra for parking. I don't know what came over me. Perhaps after watching Usher's video of 'There Goes My Baby', I was like damn...I need to step my game up. So I did and I can already see the results. however Rome wasn't built in a night and neither would me would I.
So for today's addition, I will be painting a fitness triangle but this time I would paint it right on top my mountain/canyon from day 183 to represent my tremendous 3 hour climb to fitness perfection.

After a long arduous journey dating back to December 31th 2008 when 'She Loves Me' producer Modest Touch and I decided to skip the New Year's Eve celebrations of 2008 to instead work on a new song which ended up being my debut Ultra Records release 'She Loves Me', we are finally ready for radio. Yes people, by this time next month you will be able to tune into your local radio stations and hear my singe 'She Loves Me' spinning through the airwaves. For a recording artist, this is the third milestone out of a series that one needs to accomplish before success is theirs. The first and second being getting signed and getting a release of your record. The next milestone is chard domination. I have come a long way from the grimy streets of Nigeria and I am too far down the rabbit hole to slow down now. On the contrary, I'm about to ratchet it up so keep an eye on you buy. I gat my hands on the game and it's time to 'Squeeze It' ;)
So for today's painting, I have decided to make something positive out of my oil spill disaster journey and turn my drilling rig tower from day 133 into a radio station antenna blasting out my music through the airwaves.

Yes people, another one of those exhausting 16 - hour studio sessions now under my belt. And as I type my post, all I can thing about is hitting the hay. So that's it. I'm gonna hit the hay.
Oh yeah before I forget, I will be painting another half drained bar in my battery. But this time, I will paint the drain in the opposite direction than I normally do because 'Inception' is now in the theaters and everything it turned on its head. I haven't seen it yet but this is in preparation for me seeing it. I can't wait.
