Day 161 - EVEN STEVENS
161 days down, 204 to go.
I'm incredibly disappointed after the Lakers Went down 89-96 to Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The best of seven series is now tied at 2-2. Just when you think the Celtics can't get any more annoying, here comes Nate Robinson. The little germ just beat the Lakers laughing and with his shorts falling down. Here comes Glen Davis, who truly was Game 4's X(L) factor. And here comes Tony Allen, who beat the Lakers even though he can't, technically speaking, shoot the ball a lick. The irritating Celtics are determined to make this a series, and now the Lakers are in a best-of-3 with plenty of eager moments still to come. Now for the troubling part: They enter the deciding stretch of these NBA Finals unsure how much is left of Andrew Bynum. The team's young center was limited to 12 minutes because of his ailing and swelled right knee, giving the Lakers only two points and three rebounds.

Bynum knew this was not going to be a good night for him early, in the first quarter, when he attempted to jump "and it didn't happen." The inability to jump in basketball is similar to lacking the ability to swim in swimming. He is without the strength to hold his position and the explosiveness to push off. Those, too, are large attributes to be missing when most of your game happens within 10 feet of the basket. "I just couldn't go," Bynum said. "It's pretty tough. I just couldn't do it." As for Game 5 on Sunday, Bynum has an extra day to prepare, which can't hurt. He promised he'd "be ready to go." But he also probably entered Game 4 thinking he'd be able to play more than 12 minutes.

So like always, I will b painting the dreaded scores on my canvas to represent this pain I feel in my backside that I now know to be the Boston Celtics. Also I changed the Lakers scores that were on the purple background to white so that is stands out more against the purple backdrop.

Day 160 - BLACKHAWKS TAKE STANLEY
160 days down, 205 to go.
Now I'm not a big fan of Ice Skating but I am a fan of sports in general. So when it became apparent that the Chicago Blackhawks were in the running for the Stanley Cup which is their first time since 1961, I had to take heed and check it out for myself so that I could bare witness to this momentous occasion in Ice Hockey history. And today they did it, bringing the Stanley cup to Chicago in a 4-3 overtime win in Game 6. Therefore I couldn't pas up the opportunity to mark this event on my calendar of art that is Mosaic 365.

So for today's addition, I will be painting the signature Blackhawks Native Indian feathers.

Day 159 - D DAY
159 days down, 206 to go.
My first single under my recently inked deal with Ultra Records was officially release worldwide today. A lot of artists have compared it to giving birth for the first time. But knowing than nothing compares to giving birth I'm gonna decline on that comparison. But I would say it feels like the way rocket scientist at NASA feel after a successful launch of a rocket they have been working on for many years. So please go out and pick up a copy when you get a chance at everywhere music is sold online including itunes, Amazon, eMusic, etc. Also another equally gratifying happening today was the 91-84 win by the Lakers over the Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA 2010 Championships.

So understandably I have to record both monumental events on my painting today. Rarely do I have a double feature in one session so I'm kinda excited for this one. To mark my record release I will include afterburner flames beneath my rocket from yesterday to mark actual lift off. For the Lakers win, I will paint on the scores of Game 3 just like I did on days 155 and 157.

Day 158 - THE QUIET BEFORE THE STORM
158 days down, 207 to go.
If you are a true fan, you would already know that I recently inked a record deal with world renowned record label; Ultra Records. Well if that was the first step in my impending domination of the music industry, tomorrow marks the second and very crucial step...the release. Many artists get signed every year but only a few are lucky enough to get released. I am one of those lucky few (knock on wood) and I am very thankful to God for this blessing. So tonight I'm gonna try my best to but all my excitement and anxiety to rest for a few hours and get a good night sleep so that I am well rested for what tomorrow brings.

And to reflect this impending release, I will be painting a rocket ship about to blast off into space because that's where my career is heading...to the stars God willing.

Day 157 - I STAND CORRECTED
157 days down, 208 to go.
I must be wearing orthopedic shoes because I stand corrected. What can I say...my prediction was wrong and the Celtics beat the Lakers to a 103-94 victory in Game 2. The Celtics have now evened the NBA Finals at a game apiece. That's all I'm gonna say about that. As you can tell, I am obviously disturbed by this but we have three more opportunities to redeem ourselves and take the championships.

So for today's addition, I will simply be painting the scores from Game 2 just like I did after Game 1.

Day 156 - ALL ABOUT GAME 2
156 days down, 209 to go.
I'm seriously gonna just act like today never happened as I eagerly await Sunday's Game 2 between the Lakers and Celtics. Nothing in my life today was as important as what's gonna happen tomorrow...except for the fact that God saw it fit to give me life for another day. But I digress. The stage is set for the baddest showdown in town and although I couldn't get tickets, I'm sure the Lakers know I there in spirit. I'm gonna go ahead and predict another win for my team the almighty Lakers in Game 2 by a 2 digit margin. Now some might say I'm a wishful thinker but from the way Kobe and the crew have been performing throughout the series, it's not really a stretch to predict such a healthy win margin.

So for today's addition, I will be painting a Celtics green tattoo tear just below the right eye of my yellow smiley face from day 83 which now represents the Laker team. Since tattoo tears are earned by murdering someone, this will represent the Lakers murdering the Celtics in game 2.

Day 155 - LAKERS 102 CELTICS 89
155 days down, 210 to go.
At Game 2, I wonder if Chris Rock will sit beside a different Laker. As Rock was trying to converse with Kobe Bryant, the star had his game face on, basically ignoring the comedian. Nothing was funny for Bryant, he was all business as he led Los Angeles to a decisive 102-89 victory in Game 1 of the 2010 NBA Finals. My
Lakers got out to a great start, distributing the ball and getting everyone involved. Each of their first five field goals was scored by a different Laker. They were able to maintain the lead throughout the first half, but exploded prior to the break due to some untimely errors by Boston. The Lakers extended the lead to 20 behind Kobe Bryant’s 14 points in the third quarter. Los Angeles outscored Boston in each of the first three periods to build a comfortable cushion that Boston could not overcome despite a small push late in the fourth. With such an impressive outing, I'm gonna go ahead and predict that the Lakers would take the NBA 2010 Championships. Just as long as Khloe Kardashian does not mess up Lamar Odom's mojo. She was absent at game one and that might be a good thing for the Lakers to not have her around.

As I look at the center of my painting, I see a perfect section for me to record the Lakers victory and my prediction. Since I already painted the Lakers colors on the outer rim of my circle on day 147, that would continue to stand for the Lakers. However I just noticed that I had proactively painted the smaller circle within the Lakers circle in the signature Celtics green without knowing this. When painted on day 114, it stood for Earth Week but I can now see that I was already predicting not only a NBA finals between the Lakers and Celtics, but also a dominating win by the Lakers over the Celtics as the Lakers put the Celtics six feet under the 'earth' thus giving a whole new meaning to Earth Week. You can see this by my placing of the Lakers colors in the outer/larger circle as it dominates, encapsulates and surrounds the inner/smaller Celtics circle. Call me Nostradamus if you will!

So to honor my teams defeat over Celtics in game 1 and my prediction that the Lakers will take it all, I will be painting the scores from Game 1 on my Laker and newly Celtics colors from days 147 and 114.

Day 154 - SPLITTING HEADACHE
154 days down, 211 to go.
I think as a result of three straight days going hard at the gym, my body is finally fighting back in the only way it knows how to slow me down and that's with a migraine. It began shortly after I got back from the gym today and now I feel like my head is on fire. I'm gonna have to pack it in early today and shut down for a long night of rejuvenation. And I think it's probably a good idea to take a break from the gym tomorrow and let my body rest for a day.

So for today's addition, I will be painting another migraine zigzag emulating from the epicenter of my painting which symbolizes my noggin.

Day 153 - QUICKIE FITNESS
153 days down, 212 to go.
Didn't have much time today so I had to make my gym visit a quickie session. Went it with raw determination to build my arm muscle. Since I began this journey in fitness, I have added close to 15 pounds of muscle to put m at 1951bs from about 180lbs a few months back and I kinda like it. I don't wanna look all jacked but I do like looking obviously fit. So that's my new goal, not to look like Lou Ferrigno but more like a Tyson Beckford which is what I call the 'Obviously Fit' look.

So as usual, today's addition will be of a quick strength triangle. Quick will be represented in the minute size of my triangle.

Day 152 - BIG BIG MONTH OF JUNE
152 days down, 213 to go.
Hello everybody, allow me to welcome you all to the month of June. This is the month my single 'She Loves Me' will be released...June 8th to be exact. My record label Ultra Records as set my official worldwide release date which is exactly one week from today. As you can imagine, I'm very excited, anxious, nervous and optimistic all at the same time. All these emotions are a direct result of a decade of hard work and determination to get to this point. But it's not over yet. After the release comes the nerve-wrecking part of watching it perform on the charts. So as I count down the next seven days to my release, I will be doing something special each day to mark this momentous event in my life, career and music industry in general.

For today's special addition, I will be painting the astrological sign for this period of June which is Gemimi as I look towards the stars to create a star in me and through this release.
